Welcome to Michigan Fencing
This is the web home for competitive fencing in the
state of Michigan. As always with web
sites, we are constantly under construction and may change frequently.
Archives of
previous seasons: 2001-2002
Recently
Robbie Schultz, our Division Chair, sent an open e-mail to the Division
requesting feedback on the formatting of events in the Division, specifically
the use of ‘mixed’ events. The original sending and the responses can be viewed
by clicking here.
If
you have an opinion on this issue, please e-mail it to Robbie Shultz so she can present your view
to the board.

Looking for
someplace to fence in Michigan? Check the club page for the club nearest you.
Wondering
what your competition is like?
Check Michigan's Classified Fencers, by name, club, or weapon (sabre, epee, or foil). Also
check out our NEW feature: Michigan’s Nationally
Ranked Fencers
This information is
gathered from the USFA's lists and from information submitted to the USFA from
Michigan competitions. If you have a
rating change from a competition outside the Michigan Division, contact Robbie
Schultz at hfrg@ameritech.net to confirm the details and
have the list updated. This information
will be a little difficult to keep current on a weekly basis, so please bear
with us.
Wondering who
your directors are? Check Michigan's Rated Directors for a list of available
officials.
Again, this information is
from the USFA's lists, and does not include information from FIE sources or
from available local officials below Level 6.
We are working on this as well, so again, please bear with us, and
contact hfrg@ameritech.net if you have additional
information.
Questions? Contact the divisional
secretary at Susan.Distefano@comaupico.com .
